Website Technology: A summary

Our blog titled Internet Tutorial One: The World Wide Web and its Websites through Time looks at the history of the world wide web or the internet. We looked at the history of the internet, which was first developed in 1969. As well as how internet technology works. The internet is the home of all websites. The second blog in the series, named Internet Tutorial Two: The World Wide Web in 2023 and how you can use a website to have your say, we looked at how the internet has developed since then and the best way to use it. Positives being access to information and negatives being misinformation.

After looking at the history of the internet, we looked at the history of websites in our blog titled Websites through time: A brief history, how they work and the benefits for your small business. Websites are an essential tool in today’s world, since their inception in the 1990’s.

In the blog titled, Website Internet Tutorial: What is high speed internet and when shopping to get an internet connection what are my options?, we discussed the evolution of high-speed internet and what you need to know to shop for the best connection. It can be difficult choosing the right option, so there are a few things to look out for. Namely, the speed of your connection and the factors that can affect this. Firstly, the quality of your modem and router. Secondly, the number of devices connected to your network. Thirdly, the distance between your device and the router.
